Thermographic Inspection

More safety, less downtime, greater performance.

Preventive Detection

At AS Power Engenharia, we carry out thermographic inspections on industrial and aero-derivative turbines, identifying abnormal heating points, thermal insulation losses and potential failures in mechanical and electrical components in a non-intrusive way. We use high-resolution infrared cameras and strictly follow the manufacturer’s recommendations (OEM) and international thermography standards, ensuring reliable measurements and accurate interpretations for predictive maintenance.

Scope of Services

  • Initial Measurement and Diagnosis – complete thermographic scan of the turbine, generator, bearings and auxiliary systems, identifying hotspots and thermal gradients.
  • Critical Component Analysis – inspection of bearings, couplings, housing, steam and oil lines, electrical and control systems.
  • Correlation with Operating Parameters – comparison of thermal images with operating data (pressure, temperature and vibration) for better diagnosis.
  • Recording and Trending – archiving of images and comparative analysis with previous inspections to detect the evolution of defects.
  • Technical documentation – issuing a technical report with images, detailed analysis and intervention recommendations.
